Elsevier open access negotiations in deadlock

No results have been achieved so far and there is a risk of negotiations remaining in continued deadlock.
From the point of view of the Dutch universities, meaningful steps towards open access could be made in a number of different ways. However, Elsevier has sent proposals to the VSNU on three occasions so far which do not improve the existing situation.
